So I gave away my Nitecore P30 for christmas and now I wonder if I should buy another one or is there better options out there? Looking for a good , 1x18650 thrower for a maximum of 100 dollars.

I am not a Nitecore fanboy only because of the less expensive high quality options available today.
But your bugdet pretty much opens up to ANY single 18650 light. You can get some really good lights for the $40 or less bracket these days.

A bit less throw, but more light. No side switch, integrated charger and battery in the kit. I had both, prefer XT12GT.
+1 XT12GT or even Emisar D1S if you don’t mind a bit better head

Manker u21 seems neat, runs on 1 x /18650/26650 and has 700m throw and 1300lumens max.
Why did you give it away? Needed a last minute gift and you didn’t open the p30 yet? Do you miss it? I love mine. It’s light and perfect for a coat pocket
