Well great. I guess I can just delete it from my dvr now that I know the results. Angry

Just kidding. I don’t watch football. You might be spoiling it for others, though.

I was thinking the same thing.  ;)

When I don't watch a sporting event live, I avoid BLF (and some other websites) until I see the game.

For a total of €49,47.

My Paypal payment was $143.28. With US$1 = €0.835764 , US$143.28 = €119.748. If I naively use the maximum VAT from https://www.belastingdienst.nl/wps/wcm/connect/nl/btw/, I get 119.748*0.21 = €25.15, but the invoice gives €31,92. It would be interesting to find out how they arrived at their value.

People wonder why we in Europe chose ‘registered’ along with a long wait. That right there is OVER half the lights value when you add it all up. I understand businesses being hit with it, but individuals buying flashlights etc…..no. £500/Euro should be the limit, not £30!!!!. What makes me laugh though is they charge €17.55 just to charge us VAT lol!

Mine has arrived yesterday here in Germany and I had to pay 36.16€, including 12.50€ administrative costs plus 2.38€ tax for this.
AFAIR there were no administrative costs till 2016 or early 2017.
It doesn’t matter if you order with DHL or registered Air Mail here in Germany. You must pay the taxes for imports worth of more than 22€ (26,30€ cause taxes under 5€ are free). If you get your package without coustoms and don’t pay the taxes you’re a tax evader. Wink

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone involved with the GT build . Received mine yesterday via DHL and they don’t mess around. Got notification on Tuesday morning that it was leaving Hong Kong and was on my doorstep by Wednesday afternoon.

Did you order the batteries at the same time as the light?

I know that some people added them to their order too late to be shipped with their light. I’m wondering if this happen to you.

If you ordered them at the same time, then you should contact Neal and let him know that your order was missing the batteries.

Yeah, it seems that is the reason they didn’t come together. I’m sure Neal will ship them out seperately then.

Itsme also asked the same question on the battery thread.

According to DHL my GT went out with the driver this morning…unfortunately that coincides with a winter storm rolling in. We’ll see if he actually makes it today.

I received DHL tracking two days ago – apparently it is waiting at home for me!! Couldn’t be better timing as we are going camping tomorrow. Is it overkill? Maybe, but that’s just my style.

Since no one reported any new tracking notices, I guess Neal was not able to ship out that 3rd order at the end of last week. Maybe it will be this week.

At this time I am in no hurry for shipping
It is shipped, when it is shipped

My only concern is to know the tracking code with enough time to correctly make the customs declaration
The tracking is essential to present the customs declaration

JasonWW wrote:
You can call them once a day and they can check for any shipping labels created going to your address.
Thank you I’ll try

It is shipped, when it is shipped

I do not know if my Giggles was sent
I have not received the DHL tracking number to make the customs declaration

Many have received the Giggles without being sent the DHL tracking number
I need the tracking number to correctly make the customs declaration and avoid problems

Yesterday I called the DHL office in my country
They informed me that they report the tracking numbers only to the sender
They suggest that if the seller does not send me the tracking number start a dispute in Paypal

I will send an email to the payment address of Neal requesting the information
If I do not get a coherent answer unfortunately I will start the dispute in Paypal

Sorry

Sorry for my bad English (gogole transtorla)

Oh joy, my GT just arrived today. WOW! It’s all I can say. What a truly impressive light it is. The reflector is even more impressive once you see it in person with your very own eyes. I just arrived home from work, just in the nick of time for DHL to make the delivery of my GT. I was gitty with anticipation, opening the package, just like a kid on Christmas day, opening his/her presents. The size of this light can only be appreciated in person with your own eyes. To say that pictures do NOT do this light justice, would be an understatement.

Ladies and gents, I present to you the new throw King. Beam shots will be coming.
In some of the photos, I am comparing the GT to my Astrolux MF02. The difference in size is amazing. In other photos, I have the Acebeam X-80. I had bought a carry bag for my GT from some of the suggestions here on the forum. It’s a generic brand bag, but it does the job. I bought it on Aliexpress for about $6/8 dollars. My GT fits quite nicely in the bag. I also bought the boot cover for my GT from my local store. It fits quite nicely on the GT head. I also had ordered the batteries, as you can see, they came in the battery carriers. I’m a newbie, I don’t know if I’m posting the images correctly, but the links are here.

I did notice one problem, I believe I got the GT with the opaque button. I can hardly see it when the light is off. How can I get a replacement boot for the button?

DHL isn’t the United States Post Office, snow has stayed this courier from the swift completion of his appointed rounds. We’ll see when they attempt a redelivery.

GT Package No. 455 received. Smile
For my surprise and even fun I got my BLF GT two days ago. Just thought that it will take some more time to happen,
cause I didn’t get respectively had any information about the shipment at all.

Anyway, – “the new sheriff in town” arrived, packaged well protected, in perfect looking condition, shows up awesome overall build quality and, as far I can say after little short testing, seems to work very well. It has a real impressive brightness, that lights up an even more impressive range of distance. Big Smile Crazy
In short version -, an absolute really fantastic, damned f#*\king great bunch of a lovely crazy hell of a flashlight.
Will have a lot of fun with it.

Biggest compliments and thousand thanks to all the members of the hard working crew Grad , that helped during the long and complicated process, to transform the great GT idea into GT reality. Thumbs Up

Star At least want to say, that it would be really nice and desirable, if our dear old fellow “The Miller” will hopefully be back soon. !!!
