100W FEIT’s are my favorite!!! 3000 degree temp and well made. Hopefully I’ll start seeing them around here.
I take it they are packaged in those boxes I see on the top shelf.
Here is what the package looks like from HD and Hardware stores around here. Usually around $15.00 each!
My local Dollar Trees don’t even carry the 60W variants. I had to order a case from the site to the store
Mine has two brands of 60W bulbs now, but no 100W bulbs. I may check the other Dollar Tree’s in town.

They are quite heavy, with metal exterior; and no noise (likely potted)

I believe this is just surplus stock from Feit (or something like that) and is/was only there momentarily.

poiihy, while you were MIA, my local DT for a while had the 100W Sunbeams. They are gone now.
I like the FEIT’s better and they do look like older stock from when the quality was better. More heat sinking

The version being sold at DT does look a bit different. Much less dome area. I wonder how different they are internally. Amazing that they can be sold for $1. Going to look at my local DT tomorrow as I just happen to need a few 100w equivalents.

I checked a second DT. No luck there with the 100W bulbs. I’m about to take a roadtrip and I’ll see about stopping by some DT’s along the way to check for 100W bulbs.
no fair… I want some of the 75 and 100 watt bulbs, and wow dimmable too!!! I am off to hit a few more stores in the area while out running errands. Wish me luck.
Make sure you check the packaging for an "expected life" - usually the cheaper bulbs are a worse variant.
- 22 years = 25k hours
- 9 years = 10k hours
etc... If they are well rated (13 years or more), then dollar tree got them clearance'd somehow and they're old stock/versions (which is fine, it's not like there's shelf-life issues). I'd be wary of UtiliTech, but Feit is good unless they've started making a lower-tier bulb to compete at price.
I finally found some 100W led bulbs at Dollar Tree. Unfortunately I had to go to Seattle to find them, they only had two packages, and they’re Sunbeam’s. Fortunately each package had two bulbs. Expected life is 13.7 years at 3 hours a day, 3 year warranty that requires mailing the product back to them.
A 2 pack of 100W bulbs for a dollar?

Imagine how disappointed I was that they only had two. I went to a second DT, but they didn’t have any LED bulbs at all. At least I know they’re in the area, so I’ll look whenever I’m there, and I’ll check other stores as well. I’d happily pay a dollar per bulb if I could find them in the same quantity as you.
