I swear I was just trying to replace a crappy flashlight. A more than 10 (maybe 15?) year old 2xAA Duracell with an incandescent bulb that used to live in the glovebox.
Rarely used it, but when it happened, I hated it, every time. It was so dim and useless.
So I had the brilliant idea of searching the internet about the possibility of replacing the bulb with a LED! So I would have a decent flashlight spending maybe one dollar! That simple. Of course I knew almost nothing about LEDs, apart from retrofitting bulbs at home.
Long story short, I ended up here, about 1 month ago. And now I have already bought 7 small flashlights, 4 for myself and 3 as gifts. :person_facepalming:
And you are the ones to blame! You have corrupted me.
To make it all worse, I now feel this unexplainable urge to buy more… there are so many types, so pretty, so shiny…
