Nice tracking discharge curves with fairly constant capacity, but the cell cannot handle above 10A without heat problems, this is acceptable with a maximum rating of 9.6A
I only discharge the cell to 2.8V, not the rated 2.5V and get a bit less than full capacity.

Battery gets to hot and i stop the discharge.

Conclusion
This is highest capacity 21700 cell at the current time (Jan 2018) and it looks very good, but it is not designed for high current discharges or fast charging.

Excellent work as always HKJ, thanks!
4800 is pretty impressive!

very nice cell, thank you for the detailed review.
I think I will try to bore out a light to try a 21700.

Thanks HKJ.
My current and or voltage measurements are only relevent to anything that I measure.

Always charge my batteries at 0.5Amp (when not in a hurry
).
Thanks for the review!
I always think long and hard before I say something really stupid.
Thanks for the review.
May I know what is the advantage of 21700? It seems to perform not as good as a good Liitokala 26650.

Capacity is a little less than I hoped for.
Any idea what’s the difference with this version?

Great Job as always, HKJ! I will show it to our battery pack engineers for reference. Many thanks!

Wondering whether the 48G would be okay to use for a pulsed, low duty cycle (5 sec. on, 30+ sec. off), 45-50W max. application with a 3.3V cutoff voltage.
According to specifications:
Max. discharge current: 9600mA (Not for cycle life)
Max. pulse discharge current: 30A for 10sec, 25A for 30sec, 18A for 60sec
It looks good enough (I would expect double current needs four times the cool down time, i.e. 25% duty cycle at 2×9.6A)
But is would not guess on cycle life.

Since GB is only practical place I can order battery wonder is this the same as SS 48G https://www.gearbest.com/batteries/pp_824699.html?
Said to be the same. But as with most rewraps you won’t know until it arrives.
