UK retailers

I am able to buy myself a new light (via work) but it has to be sourced from within the UK. Amazon would be ideal for instance.

Options I’ve seen are Olight & Nitecore. Ideally something USB rechargeable so we don’t have to worry about buying extra chargers etc.

Budget is £40-50

Thanks

What kind of work do you do? Are you needing flood or throw? How big a light do you want?

I would say single 18650 size will be ideal.
I’d personally like something like a Brinyte B158 to complement what I already have but that would mean extra chargers required and I can’t find them for sale in UK.
Main use will be for walking outdoors so something quite floody.

Hi Grumpazoid, Im sure others will offer other suggestions, but how about an Eagle Eye X2R from uk Gearbest? Very under budget but floody and easily “tweeked” in the future if you wanted to? Obviously not a zoomy light, but does it need to be?

Just recced this in another thread. Zanflare F1 for usb-charging, and it seals the port very well in case you work in the coal mines or something. Big Smile

See if they got it on your side of the pond.

Thanks for the suggestions. The Zanfare & Sofirn are looking good. Both are available via Amazon which is good for ease of purchase. Good to know Gearbest have a UK site though..
I am going to compare how these stack up against what Olight has to offer.

Just checking out the flashaholics.co.uk site now . Thanks.

The guys have now spotted the Sofirn C8F4 listed on amazon:

I can’t find any info on it on BLF. It is 3 led but only 10W with a claimed 2580 lumens.

You can check Folomov EDC-C4 on amazon. A compact and lightweight 18650 flashlight. Someone in BLF has made a review for it.

Just to let you know I ended up with the Sofirn C8A. Purchased from Amazon for £25.

Very impressive and produces the highest throw out of any lights I own.

My tests show 27.5Kcd with supplied 18650 and 37.5Kcd with a Samsung Q30.
