Older Solarforce L2's ... battery tube size?

Does anyone know if earlier model solarforce L2's had a narrower battery tube?

Reason asking is because having just changed from CR123 batteries and onto 18650's .. the 18650's are approx 1.5mm too wide to fit into the body!

The CR123's were a nice fit, hardy any slack.

18650 Batteries are ultafire protected, 3000 mah

Yes, the first Solarforce L2s are too narrow for 18650, you can use 17670/17650 batteries or get are spare body from Solarforce.

Bugga .... Frown i've got three L2's ... looks like i'm sticking to CR123's in those.
