Hi all, what do you think of integrating a short-range (3KM) walkie talkie into the flashlight? Since most of them are powered by li-ions batt anyway. What do you all think?
Normally, it works the other way around - many ham radios and walkie talkies have a flashlight integrated. These are mostly older LEDs but there are mods out there where they get replaced with better emitters and reflectors.
Baofeng HTs can fit a Cree inside.
If you decide to fit a radio inside a flashlight: in theory it could work out as long as the antenna is somehow not covered by the aluminum shell.
