Anyone interested in the Ultrafire UF-T60? Big head, dual 18650 shorty!

http://hkequipment.net/index.php?p=6&id=1147&lang=en&msg=Session%20Expiried!&s=

I know its a bit on the pricier side but it has potential to be a solid light! I found it on HKE and I emailed them regarding price for BLF members. I received a very quick response and they were nice enough to offer the light to BLF members for:

$71.99 US shipped. This includes the holster shown on the site.

or

$68.99 US shipped without the holster .

The light has been tempting me for a while now and with the great service from HKE and what seems to be the best price I've found on the light, I think I may go ahead and pick it up if my college funds allow. I figured Id mention it here and see if anyone else wanted one :)

at that price i'll still wait until someone does a review/comparison

Yeah, I am interested, and would especially want to see how many amps are driven in the thing and wether or not it can out throw my fenix tk41, as Im looking for a thrower.

At that price I'll wait 'till someone sells one here or it comes to a U.S. dealer.

Over 50 bucks and I won't order overseas. Too much for any Ultrafire.

Rich

i will post some reviews about this light by next week

I'd gladly get it at that price (heck, even full price) if the reflector is 73mm and head bezel is 78mm. Else there is nothing special about Ultrafire HA (i've got 2 flashlights - 980L and U80) and 93% transmission glass lens and low PWM.

So it would be better to buy a 980l u think instead of this one?

Actually i don't think the UF-980L is a good buy either.... it heat sags too fast. No use at all... It actually drops faster in output faster than a DRY in Turbo mode, believe it or not.

This light looks interesting, but like the others I think I'll wait for a review and some beam shots.

What would you guys consider to be the best multiple 18650 shorty thrower for under $100us? I really want a short thrower, but I have no idea what's good.

Looks interesting, but too expensive. I don't understand the mode change description:

I have the same wishes: very good thrower but as short as possible.

I read about the trustfire x8 which can use 1x18650 but i don't know if this affects output.

If you want a short good thrower, I think I will mod FandyFire HD2010 with 26650 + 8 or 10 x7135 + XM-L U2.

may be 50000 - 55000 lux LOL.

The best shorty thrower is the DBS V3 aspheric with EZ900 1.5A WH tint pill, it's in the range of 100k cd. 140mm long and 53mm head diameter. Takes 2 x 18350 or 2 x RCR123A/16340. You can do 2 x 18650 with the EXT650 extension but won't be a shorty then.

The DEFT HO is no longer available, but is over your budget anyway.

The hotspot is more useful than one thinks, it is about 70% the area of a top XM-L commercially available thrower like the Crelant 7G5.

Hi 2100

I will mod TRA66 with R2 EZ900 , 1.5 A , 66 aspheric , 1x18650 maybe 150000 - 170000 lux but...

I 'm finding bezel host

Mods don't count man.... hehe

So guys, any updates on this torch?

Now Lighthound has it here in the U.S. 87 bucks though. Too much.

Yeah, anyone reviewed it already?

Forget about this one unless it's at $55. Get the Sunwayman V60C at Dinodirect while you can, at 100 bucks.

You would get it if it was $40.
