Any recommendation for a power supply?

Looking for a power supply similar to a tabletop soldering station (SMD) that can provide DC voltage with digital readout. Primary uses are testing electronics, car parts and other misc stuff around the garage.

thx

What is your budget? Some car parts need high current and that may rain on your parade, because good high current power supplies don’t come cheap.

Some people use PC power supplies but then you are limited to 3 voltage stages. Check Youtube for some projects if you like to DIY.

Or there are some neat modules to make a power supply, check this from Dave (EEVBlog)

EDIT:
I thought I shall give you a link to a relatively cheap power supply, if you are not in to DIY.

This is a switching power supply, it will do for simple electronics tests, but these are not good to test unprotected circuits, mostly these suffer high voltage pieks while turning on/off and there is always some AC noise too. So if you want to test simple things go for it, 10A is the highest in this price range, really good ones are mostly 3A or 5A anything above that will go sky high with prices.

Pyramid is a brand of power supply I was looking at for a Electrolysis tank.
They have anything you want from $44 and up.
All depends what you need for current AKA Amps.

Years ago their were Surplus places where you could buy all types of Electronics very cheap.

You hit the nail right on the head

I’m planning to get a new power supply to support the new graphics card I’m getting… The gtx 760… But I’m not a genius in power supplies… So any recommendations for a good and affordable power Voucher Codes USA unit? I also heard don’t get cooler master power supplies… Why is it so?
