Hi Shirley!
We talked in facebook messenger about reviewing the EDC05 about a month ago but nothing since then. Is that means I’m out of the review bin?

Sorry, I know this thread is a bit old.. but the following line caught my attention:

"— Switch tail or magnetic tail is optional"

I'm posting this reply as I know that the EDC05 is still a relevant light and this topic was posted by an official Lumintop representative.

Today I'm just going to receive my second EDC05, this time in NW tint, but, so far I haven't seen anywhere on the internet an EDC05 sold with the option of a tail switch besides the known magnetic one, basically this would be the same as with the Tool AA and it would be great. So, was this line just a mistake, or a feature of the old revision/s of this light, or is it still somehow an option that nobody has mentioned so far ?

Regards.

Funny that nobody ever corrected them about the phrase “Can be sucked on a metal surface”. I think they meant “stuck”, although “attached to” is probably more “professional.”

Strange how “Shirley” created one topic (and only one post ever) as a Lumintop representative and then disappeared.

Who says she really is. There are a lot of free lancers out there. Waiting to prove themselves. Till the moment there’s a new kid on the block. And with a new kid comes new rules. Previous agreements may be revoked.

When you talk to a western representative, the company takes responsability for his actions/promises. Sometimes it seems that Chinese representatives promise things as if they were private persons. A common answer to my question when that promise will be effectuated is: “I am the new representative. Alice doesn’t work here anymore”.

You are a flashaholic if you are forced to come out of the closet, to make room for more flashlights.

well, now you know that you know more than the person who copied and pasted together the text for the EDC05 from text for the Tool AA

it seems clear to me that there IS No tailswitch needed for the EDC05, since it already has one, on the head.

dont believe advertising to be free of typos, or you may get frustrated waiting for an EDC05 tailswitch..

It makes no difference who Shirley is…

It looks like Shirley created two accounts and posted just once under each account.

Compare post #1 to post #3.

Many manufacturers refer to magnetic suction, so “sucked” onto a metal surface is consistent with that line of describing magnetic attachment.
