Oh well, as far as I can remember since I started buying online from China-based vendors, the yearly Chinese New Year feels like a long stroll on the beach with no one else while seeing some people talking quietly under the tress.
This year, before the CNY kicks into high gear I manage to order starting a week ago the following:
-a OnePlus 5T smartphone
-a OnePlus original aramid fiber case
-another aftermarket cellphone case
-various cell phone charging/data cables for the iPhones in the family
- the ORICO Surge Protector USB Charging Station Power Strip with 4 AC Outlet 4 Smart USB Charger Port
Tutuo Qualcomm 3.0 four USb and one type-C port
These items were ordered almost a day apart.
I tell you, the effect of the yearly CNY drives me nuts I ordered these items which I don’t really need, but just to keep me company by keeping tabs on their tracking daily !!
No withdrawl here. My must have list is filled.
I ordered, (then cancelled via live chat) an Astrolux MF02 through BangGood. I was expecting a posted refund.
The next thing I know my order says “shipped” on the 5th. Sales tactics at their finest. (This left me head scratching.)
Yet, nothing shows that it’s moved in the tracking!
It’s the time of year to learn the benefits of patience. You will have to wait whether you like it or not . The stores are closed and no one’s worrying whether your trinkets are shipped or not . Maybe time to take up a new hobby like origami or making lanyards .Something peaceful that might be found in your local sanitarium .
To fully absorb and understand the magnitude of the significance of the Chinese New Year, I invite you to watch a very well-made a BBC domentary about the 2016 Chinese New Year.
Since we on BLF are connected with the Chinese culture and understand the meaning of these festivities, I don’t see too many problems. Ordered a few items on Fasttech and saved 10-15%. these things won’t ship for 2 weeks and I don’t care too much.
I feel for the people who don’t know about CNY and order though. they might be in for a surprise.
