No clue, still waiting on shipping confirmation. All email I have gotten from them has been at like 4 in the morning so I guess I will find out when I wake up in the morning.

They won’t even answer Email or facebook message. If you’re out , at least say so . So much for Thorfire in my book .

Hey, how are we supposed to get shipping/tracking info? Email? Amazon? Other?

Anyone know?

I got an email saying they had received my payment and were shipping, along with a follow up that they had shipped and I can expect delivery in 5 days. No info re tracking or carrier.

Hmmm… They replied to an email yesterday afternoon (probably beginning of the workday in HK) saying that shipment was being arranged “today” and I should have it in 5 days.

Still not clear to me if I should expect any tracking info, but for $9/each, shipped, I’m not going to complain, provided they show up next week.

Too many streetlights, not enough flashlights.

Guess I will see what I get tonight or in the morning. I have a few Thorfire lights but have never had to deal with their customer service. Then again maybe at the price they are selling them for they aren’t in a hurry to answer me. LOL Oh well, I shall wait patiently. One thing I am absolutely no good at.

Can’t speak for anyone else, but my experience with Thorfire CS was excellent, way “above and beyond”.

I have heard the same thing Lightbringer. I just got an email from them saying the lights were being shipped and should be here in about 5 days.

Thanks for this everyone! I send a PM last night and received one back this morning asking for PayPal info from Miranda. I have one of these already and love it! I also got one of my BLF Q8 this way for a super great price, all came from their Amazon store.

I ordered 2 on 24 Feb, and they arrived today.

Nice lights. Strobe is hidden, that’s a plus. Pretty cool white, that’s a meh. But these are great bike lights for me. I don’t care as much about tint and CRI on a bicycle at night.

After further consideration I decided to order a C8F host anyway.

Credit card that I use for paypal was stolen, discovered last Wednesday and canceled card. Sent email to Thorfire for this deal on Sunday and was hoping I would get my new card before this deal was over. Got new card today and paid the invoice for ten, oh yea, this is a deal.

I feel the same except I limited myself to two because the offer stated ‘limited number’ and I wanted others interested to have an opportunity to buy.

They want your paypal account name (usually your email?) so that they can match up the paypal payment with your order. As in, you tell them the payment will come from Johndoe @ whatever and they will see the payment come from there.

They asked me how many I wanted and sent me an invoice for that amount. Saying there is a limited number is a very common sales practice, the biggest user is Amazon. Half the goods they sale say, only 3 left, only 1 left, etc..

The two I ordered showed up today. Shipped via USPS, from a city about 60 miles from me.

I wrote them an email with my info but never heard back from them. I followed up with another email tonight so I’ll see if they respond seeing how a lot of people were able to make their purchases.

Recieved mine today, really nice light for the price. I should have bought 1 more but I had just ordered a Sofrin C8 host when the offer came in.

Got mine today. It is a nice light as-is, though the spill has a magenta tint. For $8 its a fantastic host.

I really like the finish. I wonder what it looked like before anodizing. Must have been very dull grey. It feels like unglazed terra-cotta now.

Too many streetlights, not enough flashlights.

Good to hear eas, hopefully my 2 will be showing up tomorrow or Thursday. Those were hard to pass up for the price.

Friday, if the usps is to be believed.

Had something scheduled for Wednesday, got it yesterday!

Then again, something scheduled for today was still scheduled for today (from today’s email just a coupla hours ago), even though that ain’t happening…

So, we’ll see.

I got a response from Miranda on the 1st, a day after my PM and got my invoice a couple of days later (weekend). I paid via PP on the 5th. Seems pretty fast to me and a great deal. Got two for gifts. Didn’t want to be greedy.

I was told it would ship on the 2nd it would be here in 5 days. Never did get a tracking number though, oh well. I’m out in a rural area so an extra 1 to 2 days is pretty normal out here. I shall patiently wait. Plus I got my BLF Q8 today, so I got something new to play with.
