Post a picture of your younger self

Here’s a candid picture of me from 1973 at my sister’s high school graduation. I looked totally disinterested in what was going on. Yes, I was a hippie with a really long ponytail in those days.

It a good likeness

Cool man. I’d recognize you anyday!

I was six years old at the time linky

I was 21. I’m old! I was born May 2nd, 1952. I’ll be 66 years old!

In 1973 I was 5. I’m nearly old.

Here’s a picture of me from 1965 with my late mom. She was a real beauty. I miss her more than words can describe.

Edit: Posting this picture made me cry.

Me too … March 4th 1952. About to be a Birthday Boy. Photo of yours truly driving my first car … Gorman California … June 1972.

Sailing my Sabot I built … Newport Bay California … May 1976.

Your mom looks beautiful. She looks like a hollywood star!

Thank you so much! That makes me feel so good that my mother was that beautiful.

Cool picture my friend.

…Hard to believe that I was this young once …

The years go by so fast …

Cool pictures, I always like to talk to people from yalls generation if you were 21 in 1973 did you ever get drafted? Big military buff. I’ll be 30 in June. So I was a stain on a rag at that time. I know it’s off topic. My dad was born in 56 so he just missed being of age. But my uncle was drafted and my aunt was a hippie you could say and said the USA is to war hungry and moved to Australia. And lives there till this day

And I agree your mom reminds me of those old Hollywood shots

Speaking of cars, even at age eleven I knew a cool car when I saw one. Brand new, off-the-dealer-lot 63 T-Bird - seen in a motel parking lot somewhere between New Mexico and Disney Land. Not ours, we were in a 60 Dodge Dart station wagon.
Dad, look, it's a brand new t-bird, take a picture of me standing next to it
.

BTW, atbglenn, you are about five weeks older than me.

Thanks so much for your comment on my mom. Not only was she beautiful, she was the best mom a kid could have. This is why I still get emotional when I look at this picture.
I didn’t get drafted because I was 261 in the draft lottery. Remember the draft lottery?

Terry, you were a good looking kid.

Here’s the oldest picture I could find of myself. It’s me and my uncle Phil who passed away a few months ago at the age of 95. I’m guessing this picture was taken sometime in the mid 1950’s. As you can see he was a beach dweller. He always had a deep tan.

Great pictures CRX. I like one of you with the dog
