Any way to run XHP50 in a VG10?

Went to place an order with KD tonight to grab an H1-A driver as I’ve been wanting to throw an XHP50.2 in a Thorfire VG10 host. Before I placed the order I double-checked the driver size on the VG10. Glad I did as it was 17mm. Any other options? I can’t seem to find a boost driver in 17mm. Only other thought would be a MTN-17DD with Zener and 2 18350s.

That’d be kewl.

Thorfire C8S has a nice big hole that looks like it’d fit an MT-G2, it has a 17mm driver, but it can only fit a pair of 18350s (for not very much runtime).

Your link doesn’t work because the “I” was part of the link, I fixed it here:

Nice, how did I ever miss that thread? Thanks Billy!

And yes, I’m sure it will get toasty pretty fast, but it’s really nothing out of the ordinary around here.
