Has Any One Used These e-switches From Fasttech

Looks like they might work good for modding small e-switch lights.
It doesn’t list there Actuation force, I like a 150gf or more or they feel kind of weak.

No, put I have bought similar switches in bulk from FT and what I learned is that 20 switches for $1.06 is getting what you pay for, the ones I’ve tried are no longer listed but out of the batch of switches I got I only had maybe 25% that worked.
Edit: Sorry got carried away, I spent a year looking for switches and FT was a real let down, so I started linking you to the places I finally found some great switches, but thought I got a bit carried away so deleted all those links, you only asked a simple question, sorry about that…!

Thanks for the links T18. I had no idea banggood even carried the smd switches.
I have been using this switch from digikey but with shipping they were quite a bit more than the fasttech switches.

I thought for a little over a dollar, why not. If there crap though its easier to buy a quality switch than to have to replace a switch that’s already been modded to a driver. Easier to solder it on and it work the first time. :wink:

I may order some of the 5x5 from BG. They look pretty decent to me. I like the switches with a metal frame around the outside. You can solder one side of the frame down to another board in about any position you need.
I am actually looking for a better switch. The digikey switches are good but I would prefer something with the metal frame.

I am a real screw up, I thought I was messing up your question, oh well if you need links to switches I have them or hopefully you grabbed that one at BG at least, I had some real good luck there and the bulk to price wasn’t bad either, much better than FT. Those metal frame switches were very good, just check your switches before soldering to make sure they work, nothings worse than soldering them in and then nothing… Really glad if I was able to help any… I do get carried away, A Lot… ha ha
