I have many unprotected and protected cells of various sizes. I have a few 18650’s and a few 16340’s that have the micro usb charging circuit built right into the battery. Now can I charge them on my regular charger like all my other cells or do I have to use only the charging port on the cell itself? I never have tried to charge them on a normal charger, I have always used the charging port that’s on them. Don’t know why I was even thinking about it but I was, and realized I have never heard for or against normal charging of those cells.
