Milwaulkee 700 lumen rechargeable flashlight

Hey guys, Any feedback on this light sold at HomeDepot? Please advise. Thanks.

No first hand experience…
$65-90, a bit steep IMHO
Zoom focus capability, nice
Visible PWM in low modes in this vid here, yuk… thats a deal breaker for me

Whoa… that much for only 700 lemons?

Pass.

Get an F1 instead.

I found one yesterday at Bolt Supply house and I remembered seeing this post but didn’t see a reply when a day or two had gone by.

So I bit the bullet and bought one not expecting much but interested cause the centre of the reflector has a bit of a dome with a diffused look to it. Also peering through the emitter looked way too dark for cool white.
Charged it up, and sure enough a beautiful potentially hi cri nuetral white almost warm white beam. No artifacts at all, in flood the beam has a nice even fade, set to throw you can see where the spill ends but no rings, even transition and even colour temp in the whole beam.

I definitely wouldn’t call this a budget light nor would I recommend it in anyway except for the beam and colour tint.
No memory, always starts on high, built in rechargeable, proprietary battery which is much smaller than what you could have fit in that light, long run times for what is probably an 18650. The fellas are right the low mode has pwm.

It feels sturdy, the clip could be thicker spring steel for the size of the light. I’d recommend it for any non flashaholic as a gift if they love Milwaukee tools and are in the trades. Mostly because it’s water proof up to a meter, and simple.
The beam zoomed, is really pleasant. I know I’ve said that already but that’s a huge surprise finding a neutral tint on a shelf.

Nice info. How is the zoom in feature? Does light beam have those annoying shadow rings of light once zoomed all the way in?

The battery has a 2,500 mAh capacity and costs $20 at Home Depot. Ouch!

Way too expensive. If you want a decent quality zoomable rechargeable 18650 light, look at Anker LC90 on amazon for a fraction of the cost, and it comes with a Sanyo 3350 mAh cell.

No rings when zoomed, large hotspot gradually fading into spill, no rings because of the way they did the lens.

That’s not bad for propiatary cells sold over the counter, this is not an edc light for me. It’s definitely not a budget light system either.

@ CarpentryHero

Do you have any beam shot that you can post?

Yes, WAY too expensive for what it is.
Only a Milwaukee fanboy would pay that price.
It seems all of the power tool companies know that and try to take advantage

It’s been a few years since I posted a pic, I’ll try and figure it out this weekend
