Haikelite MT07S by Banggood, arrived not working

My new Haikelite MT07S came DOA (only the switch lights up).

I contacted Banggood and now I am waiting for them to offer me a solution. I will keep you updated.

I got the Nitecore TM03 from them but it arrived without the propriety battery and you cant is a regular 18650. I contacted them and they offered me 400 banggood points which is equilavent to $4USD lmao of course I declined and requested that they send me a replacement.

Good luck and looking forward to hearing what their response to you is.

Hope you don’t have as much trouble as DBSAR did.

Banggood replied asking me if I am aware of the locking function, and I replied that I am. As a matter of fact, a day earlier I had received an MT02, also by Banggood, which is working fine so I tried everything on both lights at the same time, just to be sure. MT02 responded as expected, on MT07S only the side button light acted as expected, the led never lighted up. By the way, the MT07S also came with a few small scratches and dents but I wouldn’t care about those if the flashlight worked.

I have read this, but only after I’ve ordered three different Haikelites… Facepalm Two from Banggood and one from Gearbest. I like the design of Haikelites so much that I have a few more on my wishlist.

I believe that Banggood need to make it right to me, not Haikelite. Then Haikelite need to make it right to Banggood but that’s their business, not mine. I – need to – trust the seller, not each and every different brand they sell.

I will keep you updated Smile

Update Apr, 4, 2018: Banggood asked me if I can solder a new board if they sent me one and I said yes. Still, I mentioned that I don’t know if it’s the board’s fault or led’s but I will try the board first.

I only asked them, if possible, to send it via Priority Direct Mail, the same way I choose for almost all my orders and the one I chose for MT07S’ order too. You see, at my country’s customs work emperors, queens and the king of the north himself, so many times they choose to keep a parcel for a couple of months or apply 40€ taxes on a 25€ order when received directly from China. But, with Priority Direct Mail, customs clearance is done at another EU country and everything runs smooth and fast.

Until now I feel I am being treated professionally. I would prefer something like “ok, you keep a VIP4 status, you never annoyed us before, we are sending you a new head, heck, the body is also scratched, here’s a brand new flashlight” but I understand their position if Haikelite won’t cover that to them.

I will update you when I have something new.

Update Apr, 17, 2018: Ten days after Banggood informed me that they’ll send me a new board I emailed them, asking for the tracking number. I got this response

Quote:

The circuit board is out of stock now. I apologize for this inconvenience. Our supplier would send it to us soon and we would ship this order with Priority Direct Mail.

Please kindly wait for it.

I am kindly waiting for it

I have good experience receiving Haikelite drivers from them. Although shipping time fluctuate a lot in general, I had the idea that I received replacement parts by Banggood a bit faster than average.

I had to fight GB for about 2 weeks about my MT03. They offered me $5 refund.. $10 refund… and finally resend but I have to pay like $20 shipping. I said no to all of them and told them youtuber reviewer got free resend and we regular buyers has to pay? And they finally gave me a free resend.
I almost flip out on them but I know that won’t do any help. Took long but I got my item so I’m okay now.

My MT03 from Banggood lasted about 10 minutes… they were a pain in the butt to deal with… and i got no satisfaction from them… Haikelite themselves sent a new driver… overall problem was fixed with me sending light to Texas Ace for his upgrade. Smile Was NOT impressed with Banggood’s customer service.

Today I got the driver from the post office, I replaced the faulty one and now the flashlight works.

Banggood sent it via PostNL as I requested. The delay, according to BG, was because the driver wasn’t available by Haikelite at the time.

So, at the end, everything went fine Smile
