Reylight Pineapple AA

Massdrop has a buy going for the AA pineapple for $36.99 right now. Only 4 days left. 140 total lights and only 57 sold so far. If I hadn’t just bought one I would grab it up.

I commited to this drop. I missed having one since I sold the one I had before. Never gave it the chance it deserved. Especially with 14500 cells

I picked one up a few weeks ago from a fellow on here selling off the remainder of the ones he had. Fell in love with it. Really love the build quality and tint of it. It puts out the perfect amount of light and I like that it starts in moon everytime if the memory is turned off. I think it definitely wakes up and works awesome with a good 14500 in it.

I bought one from Robert here too for about the same price. Massdrop has shipping and tax. It’s a beautiful light and has the most user friendly interface of any AA flashlight I’ve used. The moonlight lumens is also perfectly low for night time use. It’s great for gifts since anyone will be able to use it.

I wish they have the TiLan on mass drop though as I like the look better. It’s essentially the same internals.

If any of you buy from Massdrop, let me know and I can mail you the switch button upgrade for 2 bucks + stamp. This upgrade tightens up the button and makes it smoother. I tested, inspected and upgraded each one of the lights I sold.

When you get your light in from MD, you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.

Cheers

It’s a good, solid light. My only wish is that the moonlight was a touch brighter. The output levels are meh on AA, but are much better with a 14500.

I like a little brighter moonlight myself. If Rey made the moon brighter, people would complain about that too… lol

You will definitely hear from me if I have the switch too loose. Thank you for letting us know of this upgrade

I have a new Lan (v3) with the updated driver from a recent Kickstarter, and the moonlight is noticeably brighter than my first generation Lan and Pineapple. I like a good moonlight, but found the earlier ones a little dim for my use. The new one is about perfect for me.
