This Danish made instrument ( 314 Kg ) will attach to the ISS on the Columbus module and will be monitoring the other end of the flashes we see down here on earth.
So it will be the so-called red sprites, blue jets, haloes, and elves, and monitor X-ray and Gamma-ray flashes that will be the target of the instrument, so not visible or at least something the fewest of us will ever have seen.
