Up for sale is a Kaidomain KL-S26 26650 flashlight host modified with an XP-L2 4000K emitter on noictigon regulated with a FET + 1 driver. The driver is flashed with star dual channel firmware featuring Moon-Low-Med-High modes, off time memory, and a 60 second turbo timer. The light draws 7.7 amps off a full but rested blue Liitokala 26650 for around 1700 lumens out the front. Battery positive at the driver is a brass stud and the tailcap spring is bypassed. The beam looks like an XM-L2 in a smooth C8 reflector, smooth but throwy. I’ll try ro get beamshots tonight.
Price includeing CONUS shipping is $65. International buyers pay additional shipping.
Just a quick question with regards to this host: looks like it uses brass pill and its boot driver diameter is listed as 21mm, is this correct? I wonder if a 22mm H2-C board would fit without too much trouble.
Your KL-S26 based flashlight looks like it uses a textured/orange peel reflector. Found this out of stock 36.6mm(D) × 31mm(H) OP unit at Kaidomain; is it like the one in your unit?
I plan on using an XHP50 emitter, I wonder if seating it high without centering ring would alleviate or cancel the “crosshair effect” with smooth reflector.
That reflector you linked at KD measures exactly the same as mine. I’m guessing you will still have a dark spot in the center unless you slice the dome off or sand the top of the dome.
Oh! And another final final LoL question: centering gasket? Had a hard time centering an emitter in the reflector in a recent S2+ build because I had no gasket, better if I can avoid this. O:)
Something tells me these gaskets will do but, ¿ ^:) ?
Blue liitokala cells fit with a bit to spare, can’t vouch for the black version. The OP reflector in mine has a standard 7mm XM-l sized hole so most XM sized gaskets should fit.
