SOLD-Silver 2D mag with XHP-70.2-SOLD

Up for sale is a silver 2D maglite modified with XHP-70.2 and FET +1 dual channel driver. The emitter sits on a 32mm maxtoch DTP copper MCPCB which in turn is adhered to a copper wrapped aluminum heatsink with arctic alumina. The reflector is a smooth rebel unit and the lens is the UCL unit from flashlightlens.com. The driver is flashed with star dual channel firmware featuring low-med-high-turbo modes, off time memory, a 60 second turbo timer, and low voltage protection. Battery positive is routed past the switch directly to the emitter to reduce resistance and prolong switch life. This maglite draws around 16 amps off a pair of liitokala 26650 cells for an estimated 8000 lumens out the front. The beam is fairly throwy with minor artifacts only visible on a white wall. I will try for beamshots tonight.

Price includeing CONUS shipping is $93. International buyers pay additional shipping.

Agreed, this one ought to stand out among the (many) Malkoffs.

And if I can’t find my “lost” 1C & 1D sometime soon, I’m going to have to replace them too.

That was a quick sale. I was hoping we might still get the beam shots. Big Smile
I built several of these with xml’s and one with a mt-g. Heavy duty host and easier to work on than some of the small lights.

Too late tonight, the neighbors will think the sun’s come up already! And it’s already packed up so none tomorrow either.

Got the light today, this thing is a BEAST! I’m using Shockli 5500mAh IMR 30As.

Excellent workmanship, thanks.

I can’t wait to spring this one on a Mag hater…

A mag hater? To these exist in the wild? I appreciate the kind words, it’s easily the second brightest mag I’ve ever built. Enjoy!

Stock Maglites aren't all that impressive...

I can see someone hating those.  ;)
