Never heard of a “Red Dot Award” before, so I looked it up.

Wow, you have to pay a 350 Euro entry fee, and 3,650 Euros for a Red Dot Award to be published in their magazine. I’m in the wrong business Facepalm

I’m an Xtar fan and have at least 10 of their chargers and USB meters: XP1 (4), MC1+, MCPS, VP2, WP2 II, VC4, SP1, so I’m biased.

I was reading this guy’s post over on CPF about an Xtar subsidiary that they have, which markets mostly in China, here:

Allmaybe brand of chargers…)-battery-charger

ALLMAYBE

I ended up at Xtar’s site and saw the Walrus and the Red Dot award and thought…‘oh cool!… that’s pretty neat of them’.

So basically this is a Q8 for divers. Cool.

Plus extra red. Sounds good.

Wondering how connected all these charger manufacturers are. Does this Allmaybe charger look like the Liitokala charger ?. I bought a Nitecore D2 from Nitecore Store (official authorized Nitecore US distributer) , and it came with a plastic Xtar battery case factory sealed in the box.

But, has nothing to do with this cool looking new flashlight.
