Any takers?

Not a chance. :P

Thought not.. Fake? Or just junk?

There is no 18650 cell with higher rated capacity than the 3100mAh from Panasonic.

It's junk. Take a look at this test:

If it looks too good to be true... :\

I think both ;)

Depends on everyone's expectations. For the ones actually knowing what the market offers and at what prices, it just doesn't look good.

Something can look good and be true, but these don't look good.

And as you said yourself, the 4000mAh capacity just can't be true.

That isn't to say that the true capacity may not actually be pretty decent anyway, but when you know for a fact that the company is willing to quote a bogus capacity, who knows what else they be willing to do? There is just no telling what cells you have under that wrapper, where they came from or what condition they might be in. All bets are off at that point.

nope they aredefinately not both..

they are real.. and they are Junk ... real junk

i concure with the thought that anyone who knowingly sells these is a company to avoid .

and anyone who unknowingly sells these has no business selling llithium ion cells and should be avoided at all costs

If I'd seen these at DD I wouldn't have looked twice, but sort of had the impression that BIC had a more reliable rep at BLF.

Learning all the time..

I think Bic is an ok company for some things .

Batteries are like tires or brakes on a car... I'd buy a flip down visor ,a shifter knob or mudflaps from B.I.C. ... just not pistons .

Just remember they sell ten thousand other items too and probably warehouse nothing.
