Brought an Olight Wave 15 Headlamp that uses an 1200mAH Li-Ion that charges off USB. It says the rate is at 0.35A & that the actual charger is built in the battery. I wan’t to charge in car using a cigarette to USB adaptor which are 1A or 2A.
The charger will only draw what it needs. There is no such thing as too much amps from a power supply in this case. Just like your computer might have a 1200W power supply but the machine is idling at 50W most of the time.
