Looks interesting:

Step-less Brightness Control and Magnetic Tail

wow - nice...very nice. wonder how low the price might get....although, might not be bad at that price if heat isn't too bad

Wow, they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.. I wonder if it will come close to the SC600's efficiency.

Someone buy it and see if the SF clip fits on it. Quick.

Cool torch, nice find !

It looks to be 'inspired' by Zebralight and Spark. :)

Is it just me, or are Ultrafire torches creeping up in price lately?

If this is as close to the SC600 as my UF-H3b is to an h60, I'm all over it!

The ultrafire 'UF' line of lights are the pricier but nicer of the 'budget' lights. This one looks nice. just strange machined slots on the battery tube that I dont like. I am interested to see how it works!

Someone pick it up :D

Not just you. I've seen a few higher priced models. One here http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UltraFire-UF-009-Cree-Q4-Recoil-R5-Duo-LED-Flashlight-/120672945382?pt=US_Flashlights&hash=item1c18ab04e6

man just as I pony up for a sc600..lol jk..looks decent

exactly, decent instead of awesome. i think if you change levels w/ any frequency the sc600 would be much nicer...

i like seeing this kind of clone - maybe the competition will drive down some 'premium' prices

That is nice looking. I was playing with an old craptacular 3xAAA light I had forgotten about that has a side switch, and after nothing but tail switches and awkward cigar and overhand holding a light a side switcher really is a comfortable light to use.

I'll be keeping an eye out on this one.

Yeah...what a joke. I had just promised myself that I would stop buying lights for a while

And now this. Oh well... Christmas is 'round the corner.

(as if I needed an excuse to buy a new flashlight )

Just the colour is titanium, metal is aluminium. Info taken from Manafont.

I’d buy it for $25 assuming the head can be easily opened. I wonder if the magnet in the tail can be removed?

Ramping generally (IMO) isn’t as convenient as it seems. This light comes on at 400 lumens or whatever it is every time and you have to press a button and wait for it to ramp down each time.

The side switch does get my attention however. No more tail clickies for me!

Not necessarily. The UF-H3 has memory, so it comes back on wherever it was shut off. Hard to believe they'd have dropped the feature for this light.

But it still can be quite annoying, you turn it on on low, if you want more light you should press the switch and wait 3 seconds for ramping and another (at least) 5s to achieve max brightness. 8 second to change mode, pretty slow and can be a little bit annoying.

Yeah, as much as 8 seconds I'll never get back. Just to have the exact level of brightness I need. I see your point.

That is qan exciting looking light. I wish it was $10 bucks cheaper but if it can perform to within 75% of the SC600, I might have to pick this one up.

Good point. I forgot about the memory. I have some ramping lights though and they’re OK but they’re still slower than an UI like Zebralight.

Nice light though. I’d buy one probably if the price came down a little.

I just checked a UF-H2 and an UF-H3 they start off obviously were you left them and begin ramping from full low to full high in less than 3 seconds so I am not sure were you get the 8 second number from. Under 4 seconds to find a mode unless you have it set were you want it than it's instant because it has memory.
