I don’t have Facebook, so I can’t vote. Hope this will end up in a discount because I really like this light but I know it’s gonna be expensive!

Interested to know how long Turbo mode lasts before it steps down. Hope it’s not like Emisar D4 that starts dropping almost immediately.

@M4DM4X, yes I did put my choice. NW XHP70.2

Also, ask Wuben if they are willing to use a 4000k 80CRI XHP70.2

Would make for a dope light.

@Pete, I doubt that it would step down as quickly. It is using a more efficient LED array(4x XP L2s vs 4x Nichia 219Cs), a boost converter, and isn’t overdriving the emitters to their limit, unlike the 219Cs.

It also has a bigger body, meaning it could hold the heat for much longer.

Need confirmation it’s XH70.2 not XHP70 like the description shows.

The fact that they claim 4200 lm output leads me to believe that it’s XHP70.2. The XHP70 is only rated at 4022 lm, unless maybe if you overdrive it, which I hope Wuben will not do.

It would be nice for someone to confirm.

I love the “Scenarios” on Wuben’s page. Good to know I can use this light to defend myself from burglar ninjas.

Some pictures show 70 and some show 70.2. I wonder if they are still deciding.

I built a light using a xhp70 and a small OP reflector and still get a bit of a donut shaped hot spot. I hope they go 70.2 like their competitors.

My Convoy L6 thread with XHP70.2, Texas Avenger FET driver, Narsil v1.2 ramping firmware (old), lighted side switch and cut down SMO reflector. Lots of amp draws on stock driver as well.

My Supfire L5-S thread with XHP70.2, 26350 cells (4,100 lumen!), Texas Avenger FET driver, NarsilM v1.0 ramping firmware and lighted side switch. My mini L6!
