What is the UI ? Does it cycle through modes to off ? Are the stupid blinky modes hidden ?

It looks fine but UI is important to me.

According to the product page, tap for on, tap to cycle modes, long press for off. The light has mode memory. Longer hold to get to the strobe modes.

The UI is simple, one click for ON, then another click for mode change (have memory), long press 1s for OFF (at any mode).
When ON, press and hold 4s for Strobe, then another click to change to SOS, Beacon.

Yes, you are right. :+1:

Doh! I looked on the page but didn’t see it.

Thanks

I’ve been looking for a new bike light recently and the Lumintop C01 looks pretty good, but I’m disappointed by the battery capacity/run time.

I’d be interested to know whether the battery capacity is determined by size/weight, cost, or market research.

Apart from that the beam, UI, and colour temperature all look good.

Hi, the battery capacity is decided and limited by the light size, the max 10.5 hours on low is enought for a single city ride, what’s more, it’s rechargeable.

Looks interesting, is thermal protection built in?
Is the light body entirely molded resin?

Yes, the light body is made of high-intensity ABS materials.

This seems like a great bike light. The compact style and usb charge possibly is great for our Dutch dark evenings and nights!

I was looking for a couple lights for the kids bikes. We live in a very dark area in the middle of nowhere and this would do them just fine. They could bring it in every night and charge it for the next time. I will be picking up a couple when they are available. Depending on price of course.

They are $29,95 a piece: http://www.lumintoponline.com/lumintop-rechargeable-versatile-bicycle-headlight-c01-with-max-400-lumens-p1402547.html

As soon as I have it I will do a review of this light.

It was a very good bike light until the locking clip mount broke! I knew it would happen sooner or later. The handle bar mount was a bad design.

That’s unfortunate. Will Lumintop send you a new one?

I don’t know about that. I haven’t send them a message and bought it from Neal Zhang.

https://youtu.be/ygnID3M6iQU That’s the video of it installed on my fat bike.

Already contact the seller. He will send a new handle bar mount.
