“I used to think that top environmental problems were biodiversity loss, ecosystem collapse and climate change. I thought that thirty years of good science could address these problems. I was wrong. The top environmental problems are selfishness, greed and apathy, and to deal with these we need a cultural and spiritual transformation. And we scientists don’t know how to do that.”   (Gus Speth)

Kmwc72 CN, welcome to BLF! Most of my favorite LED flashlights are made in China - my favorite being those that use 14500 batteries.  What are your interests?

Welcome.
I’ve been in China a few times, beautiful country.
Sad, that after those visits, no Chinese food in Europe taste well Smile

Welcome to BLF kmwc72 CN!

I’d rather use my flashlight around the house than turn on the lights.

The number of Chinese population determines the huge market. Big Smile
But cheap flashlights account for most of China’s market.

Sorry for my bad English.

I'm very interested. Big Smile Many flashlights are made in China, but they are not sold in China. for example EDC05

The Lumintop ECD05 appears to be a fine 14500 flashlight (I have never owned it), but I prefer a tail-switch 14500 flashlight such as the Lumintop AA tool (which I do own). My favorite flashlight so far is the Thorfire TG06S because of its low cost, acceptable quality, and features that suit me. I primarily carry it in a belt holster - and often give them away as gifts.  One can  often find the TG06s on sale for under $10.00.

What flashlights are available to you in China that you like?

One last question for you Kmwc72 CN. Can you buy the Manaker E11, Convoy S2+, and DQG Tiny LED flashlights from a brick-and-mortar store in China, or do you have to order them over the internet like we do in the US? Just curious since I believe all three of these flashlight are manufactured in China. Thank you my friend!

High quality flashlights can be bought in a brick-and-mortar store, but there are too few varieties.
I prefer to buy online and choose more and more varieties, such as Taobao.com and JD.com. Logistics is relatively developed in China, and it can be received in 3 or 4 days. Big Smile
