Yes been playing with it for half hour  <img src= " />

Did slightly rip the cover, but its never looked smiled face, just smiley mouth.

Could not get the retaining ring out either.

But it works.

@ fluke

If you pulled the rubber cover out completely you should be able to take a small flathead screwdriver & slowly pry the retaining ring up by going around it from the inside & gently lifting as you go until it loosens & comes out.

You can also use a flat blade screw driver and try twisting around the bottom edge like this.

This way your only lifting. If you pry or lever the screwdriver your pushing down on the opposite side of the ring which defeats the purpose.

You’ll probably have to go in a circle or back and forth opposite sides lifting just a small amount each time.
