Has anyone seen or bought this light yet ?

. I saw it a few months ago and was going to ask if anyone has tried it yet ??

 Dual button /USB charging /cigar grip /26650/18650/ 60mm reflector

Looks like the beginnings of a pretty good ..BST....,Budget Super Thrower

AIMIHUO

Seems like they are just re-sellers of commonly sold lights  but they also have a few I'd never seen before.

I kind of like the look of it .

8000 lumens from an XM-L2? Impressive!

Also, I think its more like a 60 mm reflector (not inches). Perchance a hair less, given head diameter of 62 mm.

All things told, it would be interesting to see what comes of it. Who’s going to take the plunge first?

I knew it existed with another name since all their lights seem just re-badged

Does anyone see the USB port? I dont see it in any of the pics and they don’t show a cable either. Misprint?

It looks like the larger model takes a 26650.

I would almost buy the large one and do an experiment where BLF members tell me what parts to order to mod this and make it a beast if it is a good host. I could take it apart upon arrival and use my calipers to measure everything and post pics.

***  ( Pics are not mine ... found on Banggoods comments. )

The USB is hiding behind the cigar grip ring .

I like the FOY Bezel too

I’d been interested in these 6 or so months ago when they were on Banggood, but I never pulled the trigger before they were discountinued. I found them again on AliExpress, but the prices were too high.

For $15 though, I think I may give the 26650 version a try. I don’t think the 18650 version really offers much over a C8, other than the side switch.

Re the bezel thickness, I think that photo exaggerates things significantly. Look at some of the photos in the product listing and it doesn’t seem unusually thick.

Mood: Dull & Dirty, like Nichia.
