I have one of these, and it's been a very good meter. I have a better quality meter to compare it to, and it comes out shining for voltage testing.

I know this is a very old thread. Wondering if this $4 meter is good enough to check battery voltages. Occasionally can find a used laptop pack at best buy. Only go once a month and some months come back empty handed. Recycling isn’t big here and the other stores have it behind the counter. And put it in themselves.
Just need something to check pack pulls occasionally nothing else really at this point in time. Just battery voltages. Anyone have experience with these cheap harbor freight meters?

Thank you, not really concerned if its 1-2% off but 10 15+ then ya that’s a problem. Ive been having to use my opus or vc2 to check the voltages of the cells. So figure its time to spend $5-10 on a meter. Would be nice to know roughly the end voltages of all my chargers as well. It just wouldn’t get used enough to really invest more then 5-10$ into one
