First post My Olight i3E seems to be very picky about the AAA batteries i put in, and am looking for an alternative twisty. i’ve gone through the usual suspects, but it seems nearly all start at firefly/low mode. The closest one i’ve come across is the Olight i3S, which starts at medium mode(60 lumens). imho it’s a little fussy to cycle through firefly >L > M > H mode when the power goes out, especially for a twisty.
Single mode is fine with me…strobe is a nice-to-have, but not that critical. tia
I recently got a Thorfire Mini and like it a lot. Single mode AAA twisty with a high-cri Nichia emitter, ~85 lumens. I have one 40%-off code available.
