Wow…$ 4.21 for a titanium flashlight? I bet even the host would cost more to manufacture and distribute than $ 4.21.

The $4.21 is for the double slot charger, not the flashlight, choose another option.

Beam me up!

That makes sense. I forgot to turn off “no script”. Facepalm

Freeme, can you get a measurement of amperage and voltage at the board up top? Looks like a boost circuit running those emitters in series, just wondering what the levels are… no biggie if you can’t but sure appreciate the information if you can! Big Smile

Edit: Also, can you determine if the bead blasted head is also Titanium or is it Aluminum for better heat dispersion? And is the aspheric glass or plastic? Inquiring minds and all that… Wink

Edit II: Sorry, but are the Nichia’s in the 5000K variant or warmer? The linked pages that show beam color show white but the indication there is also XP-G3 and this is Nichia 219C, thought I’d attempt to clarify. According the Nichia datasheets if the 219C is going to be making 1200 lumens with 4S set-up then the current should be in the 700mA range. This should fare pretty well in the heat department, do you have any feedback as to whether or not it runs on the warm or hot side?

Interested too.

Gosh why did I have to stumble upon this post/thread….another titanium light (single cell 18650) for my collection.

My Eagletac D25A Ti 2014 edition was over $50 when I got it on sale from Illumination Supply.

I’ve got a thrower, a flooder, and an EDC too. Still looking for a bigger thrower, flooder, and a new EDC, give or take a few. I’m a flashaholic.

With an Aspheric lense for even flood lighting, this would be perfect for E21A 9080 or Optisolis emitters. Will paint the perfect wall of even HI CRI with perfect tint light for photography.

SKV89, that’s why I want to know the current/voltage… a very high CRI Cree COB can work very well in this type set up. Wink

Mayor Glenn Welsch: There's a saying in Missouri, if you don't like the weather just wait five minutes. In Blaine, with hard work, I think we can get that down to three or four minutes.

Would you EXPECT IP68 from this price point? IP68 being the highest rating a consumer device can attain, right? So, seems like at the price point it would be highly unlikely for this one to be able to withstand 1.5M underwater for 30 minutes.

SKV89, your search skills are better than mine. Can you provide a website or link to this Amutorch 26650 triple?

Thanks!

Freeme, is this Amutorch AT40 the same model as the one you posted in another thread?

You’re right. Highly improbable.
I was expecting a titanium light that is super durable sidekick for my late activities on the beach.

Are the leds spaced suitably for an optic?

Interested

Edit: also is the clip stainless?

Clemence, I’m not saying it isn’t, it very well could be, just at the price point and size it seems improbable. If the o-rings fit properly then some good lube might well make it suit your purpose. To really guarantee it though it may be necessary to reach deeper into the wallet… Wink

Depending on the price I might give it a try. It isn’t announced yet, right?

I was thinking freeme said $35 or less, probably worth a shot to be honest…

I guess I was mistaken, doesn’t seem to be a price discussed to date… you can get in straightaway for $46 shipped so it should be an attractive price and as a Titanium light it does indeed hold interest. Smile

Yeah definitely interested for my quadtrix built. That’s not a bad price for a Ti light.

That’s what the original post said, it’s been heavily edited. Started out with no brand name or pictures, just text about a Ti light for around $35.
Wasn’t in the internet wayback machine but unless there’s some other thread named “4× 219C 1200lm Titanium Alloy 18650 EDC Flashlight Group Buy” it’s this one.
