Sunwayman V10R XML - 1-460 lumens using a 16340... Your opinions

http://www.batteryjunction.com/sunwayman-v10r-xml.html

My paypal finger is hovering over "buy now" button for this one (I already have the XP-G edition and love it). What do you think?

Just keep your finger hovering until you get cramps, then click it and blame the cramp = clear conscience :)

Hmmm...

@oldbobk

I know it is expensive but it is the way I am using this light that earns this "love" I have for it...

I have it clipped in my "zippo" pocket (so I want a clip and small size). Half the times I reach for it, I am using the momentary on (so I want a forward clicky). I use it to walk outside at night, to walk out of my dark parking, to slightly lit my bedroom so I can change clothes while my wife sleeps (it tailstands), to check my kids at night (ten lumens to not step on a toy and one lumen to point at the kids without disturbing their sleep), even to lit my office's toilet when the bulb died e.t.c. Also used it once to freeze a not so friendly dog (pull out, point and turn momentary = less than 1 sec as I always clip it at full brightness).

So I am using it on different lumens setting each time and sometimes I don't even realize it as change the brightness exactly how I need it when I need it.

So it has almost everything. The only things that I want different is, more lumens and even smaller size. And this new version has much more lumens.

Now, I am not sure if I wrote this for you to read or for me to read so I can better justify the purchase

Just PM me your paypal info and I'll take care of it for you :P

That's the spirit!

I have the XM-L neutral one, and the output is notably higher, but it doesn't give you more throw. The lumens come from the larger die area, but you won't be getting any more surface brightness. For an EDC, its got a wide smooth hotspot, and the output on my one is the lowest of all V10Rs as well! (super awesome).

I totally agree with Aleister on this one. Id MUCH rather forgo many budget lights for one of these. Unfortunately there are still not many competitors to the V10R UI wise with name brands, let alone in the budget world....

Terrible, terrible news... My finger... Had a cramp... And clicked buy now...

Haha , congrat man.. Share some pictures with us when you get it

Must give your finger some rest time, all that browsing web stores can really bring on the cramps and involuntary clicking..

YAY, post number 888!
