Don’t think I have any sympathy for German Captains-Of-Soccer-Industry in general.
Not since Bild Zeitung, Danny Cruyff and a Schwalbe crippled the Dutch Dream in 1974 (yes I am old).
But I have always respected the attitude of the players, every one of them always gave everything he had,
until the final whistle-signal and the fat lady started singing.
Maybe a new Dutch team could be forged from that mold, on basis of a no result - no pay reward. :smiling_imp:
