In for 2, NW if possible. Love my original GT & very interested in the XHP 70.2 version. My previous older “throwy” lights (several models of the Jetbeam BC40, which goes about 350 meters) look insignificant compared to the XHP 35 GT!
TA..... a question whenever you have time. No rush... Is the Neutral White option going to actually be that, as close as possible to Truly "Neutral White".... without the yellow/orange tint?? Neutral White with little or no tint warm or cool. But better a lean to slight cool than yellow.... if it must lean.
If it was a neutral white with little tint, I would change my CW to NW in the form. For comparison, my Q8 color is just perfect for me, whatever it is rated at.
That’s a long way to ship brother, up to you though.
If you have, or have access to a large vice; I can tell you how I removed my light engines pretty easily & with zero damage. I have done 4 of them… all from different batches.
Just let me know…..
Check PM.
PM checked & replied to…..
It took longer to type than it does to do……

Yeah…. I feel the same way depending somewhat on what the CW ends up being.
To me for the most part anything below 5000K is going into Warm White.
I consider 5000K to 5700K true NW.
But to each their own….
IIRC the Q8 was 5000K. It is nice. A bit cooler would have been just as nice too.
No puke yellow/orange on the warm end & no harsh blue on the cool end for me.
True Neutral White & lean to the cool side if it must works for me in any light.

can you get Lumintop to dome slice the xhp70 perfectly?
This has been discussed, they are going to test a few first to make sure they can do it before offering it as an option. If it is an option then it will be available when you buy the light for an extra fee.

Other than battery holder, any option for accessories like shoulder strap(must have for such big light), short tube? No need for separate order.
Yes, all of the basic options like short tube will be available at check out and I will be adding some things to the Form once they tell me the prices as well. So hold onto your confirmation emails so you can edit your reservation for the new items!

The Q8 is 3D tint and that is the goal we are hoping for with this light as well.

Filled the form for a conversion kit. Any idea how long can it hold turbo before stepping down? Wonder if it’s possible to use the 35Es that came with my GT
Yes, you can use the 35E’s in this light as well, it will not be as bright as 30Q’s but will work just fine.
Not sure on exact step down time but around 2-3 minutes if I had to guess depending what tempreture you calibrate it to.
It gets warm pretty quick but it also has a lot of mass to absorb the heat.

Interested in Flashlight or Kit.
Separate Driver would be Interesting too.
4000K is the best for me.
Interested in XHP70.2 Head without Reflector, with Tailcap and Battery-Carryer.
I want to make two flashlights from my first XHP35 with both tubes, which I plan to mod to aspheric with Collar.
To put some of the requests for other combo’s of parts to rest.
There will be complete lights or the conversion kits sold. I am 98% sure there will not be the option for a light engine, or head alone. It would play havoc with their inventory.
I am also pretty sure that individual mcbpcb’s and drivers will not be sold, at least at a price that would make sense over buying the complete kit. This price on the kit was hard enough to get or to even get them to offer it at all.
They wanted the GB price to be $75 for the conversion kit but they came down to $55 as a good will move for BLF. If they sold the mcpcb alone I am guessing it would be $40, in which case you might as well get the kit since the LED alone is worth the extra.
Now for the other parts like short tubes, reflectors, lenses and such, these have a real good / almost confirmed chance of happening along with any other “external” parts people may think of.

Texas Ace I submitted the form day before yesterday but got no conf. Email. Thinking I may have entered incorrect addy I resubmitted yesterday making sure Email was correct but still haven’t received conf. Can you see my info? Thanks for your outstanding participation.
Well, I want to say that the “ultimate thrower” BLF GT didn’t interest me… much. I’m really not into super throwers. I’m not a hunter. I live in the city. And I don’t have the desire to shoot down helicopters.
BUT THIS! I actually would like to have one. If I could, I’d buy two or three (father-in-law and brother-in-law need toys too and they live in rural/farming area with open spaces). I’m not signing up for now, because I have no money to spend. But I’m glad it’s being made, because maybe one day I’ll get the chance to own one…
…just need to get that second job I always dreamed about.

Changing from cell browser to laptop did the trick. Signed up for preferably neutral white light and possibly batteries depending on price. Never had issues on cell before now but there’s a first time for everything. Thanks TA !
Ok, good to know for anyone that does not get a confirmation email in the future.
BTW, if you do not get a confirmation email now, you will also not get the purchase information later. Either your email was incorrect or your browser had an issue. Either way we will not have the correct address to contact you.

Ain’t that the truth. Mine worked fine for this, but about a week ago I could not order anything from Banggood with my cell browser. I had never had a problem before that. It continued for about 3 days & is now back to normal… working fine. Who knows???

In for one conversion kit.
Wish they sold the pre-made light engine with shaved dome by itself but it sounds like it is what it is.
Thank you!
1x BLF GT70 (NW), I would prefer a 4000K version, cause I really like the original GTs tint…
(if NW will be around 5000K, a CW version will probably be better…)
and I hope the price will be more like 200.- not 240.-……
1x conversion kit, in case I manage to open my existing GT….
I raised my spending limit to $250. I’m hoping it will be less.
‘Theodore’ would be proud my friend….
Hope you had a good 4th!!!
Mine was great. I hope yours was great as well. Had a few friends over for some BBQ and drinks. I wish you and The Beave could have been here. That said, I’m super excited about this improved version of the GT!

I am sure we will surpass 100 people to get the $240 price, we are at 90 lights reserved now. I will try to post the list once we reach 100.
After that it depends how fast word spreads, the price of a short group buy is there is not as much time for people to hear about it.
