Please help today I bought a pair of good ole trustfire flames 18650 2400mah to go with a flashlight for my friend. But i am worried because Deal Extreme has reports of the lastest batch being of poor quality and low capacity. Has anyone received them recently are they ok and should i cancel my order? it is pending still. it would be a shame if they are junk as i have 4 old trustfire flames that are great. Note dont drive high power inductive loads as it kills the protective circuit, now i have 2 that are unprotected but still working fine.
Ok so I just found the Flames battery thread, Will try and remove the batteries from my order and buy from another supplier.. Cant stand duff batteries!

Afaik DX is back to good ones as complaints went through and they contacted the supplier.

i was testing used cells but i tested some new ones on post number 75
So that's encouraging for me maybe I will receive the latest new batch. Hope they are ok.

Just received 6 of them from Dinodirect. Protected and seems ok. Previously i have already received 1 pair as replacement and they tested to 2300mAh.
Will just rip out 1 of them and sample test.
Hmm... cancelled my order for 4 pairs from DX when I read the comments a few days ago.. might need to reorder if ok. Gotta love the scrutiny with places like DX compared to other dropshippers.
With Mana would the classic flames be better or "3000mah" (for $1 more) if I'm doing just 500ma discharge for say cell phone charger?
the 3000 mAh dont give much more then the 2400 mAh and dont seam to test as high from what ive read.
I took a pair of "3000"´s from mana. Was going to take the regular ones but I was thinking just to test how these go.
