LuckySun Sitewide 21-22% Discount

Today i talked with Jack from LuckySun. And he told me about the Sitewide Discout Promotion.
All their products are 21-22% price reduced.
So if you are interested in one or more of their lights.

Go to : https://luckysunled.aliexpress.com/store/4424094?spm=2114.12010108.0.0.6a4e723bKRuLMV

Here are only a few of their Flashlights.

They also have a few (~40) incomplete BLF D80. If enough People are interested they will produce the missing parts (Tailcaps) to sell the lights.
And If there is enough interest in the D80 (~300) they probably making a 500pcs run. So if you are interested post here and i will let them know!

I still have a weak spot for the D80, but just as a host.

Instead of offering discounts though, they should upgrade their flashlight to today’s standards, working on better leds, using DTP-boards and using better drivers and user interface. The looks of their lights I still find really nice.

Are there any alternative DTP boards available for the F3X? I would like to buy one but use different LEDs in it.

No, the ledboard is the big obstacle modding the F3X, the led spacing is unique. Everything else about the F3X I think is superb! In other words: a typical LuckySun light, almost there but lacking on one essential detail: it has no DTP-board so it can only be mildly driven, and there is no alternative for modders.

I’m tempted by some of LuckySun’s lights, but they’d all need a driver swap to get a decent UI and probably an emitter swap too.

Apart from the F3X are they generally mod-friendly?

I know the D80 and the mini-20 and they are mod-friendly (common drivers and ledboard fit)

Yea the BLF D80 one of my favourite lights it looks awesome

Id love to see some new priducts from luckysun like a new D80.

Like i said this is not only a Promotion Sales thread.
If enough people have interest in the D80 they maybee make a new batch. And after talking to them i can say that they are also not averse against a bit of BLF input. How much? That i do not know!
But i think that there is a real possibility (without promising too much) that we could get the beautifull D80 (maybee) with improvements.
Everything depends on how many people are interested.
I bought a D80 today to mod it with a Seoul Viosys Z5. And i hope that we are able to buy this light also in the future!

I am interested in a (new) D80.

I was told that they are working on new lights (DTP boards, modern LED´s and they are also looking into the new popular drivers and UIs).
Hopefully we will see some beautys again! Nice to see another open minded Company. And i have to say that the Person i talked to was really friendly and open for suggestions.
Maybe in the future have the chance to build some nice products together (i really hope so)! If the time is right and the right project comes along

I would be interested in the D80 body (tailcap ?) that handles longer cells. The original D80 could only use short 18650s and I missed out on the GB for the improved pieces.

Thanks,
Mike

I know that they do not have them at the moment because i ask for one for myself.

LUCKYSUN flashlight are nice and at a good price. I have a D80 model bought at Gearbest. But they have crazy mode control. No one wants to have special modes among ordinary ones. Special modes should always be hidden behind a double click, etc. At my D80 I immediately replaced the driver. The manufacturer should think about it.

One big point we are talking about. At the moment they are looking into ToyKeepers and TomE´s work. If they are only doing it to get a feel of the direction it´s going, or if they want to use Bisto,NarsilM. . .
But that they are spending the time to look into it is a good sign! They had real beautys and the D80 is still a beautifull light. And i still hope they will make a new batch but eliminating the weak points the old one had. Time will tell. For now i am happy that another flashlight producer wants to work on their lights to build even better once.
