Solarforce L2B

Does anyone have any experience with this light? I noticed that it’s on sale on Solarforce’s website right now for $20…and I’m in the market for bike lights. I can’t find any reviews though.

You can get a Convoy S2+ which takes 20mm TIR lenses, and stick an elliptical TIR in it to give a wide flat beam.

I got a bunch of L2Ms, and this looks like one of them but with a bike mount.

I don’t have this one but have got several L2P.

The L2B seems to have a rigid mounting accessory which is great for bumpy roads (light doesn’t shake) but there are 2 drawbacks with those flashlights :
1- The P60 dropin doesn’t fit tight in the flashlight’s head = the thermal path is not has good as a flashlight with a LED MCPCB on a head shelf.
2- The reverse clicky works nicely when the flashlight is held in hand but there is not enough compression on button spring and drop-in spring = mounted on a handle bar, the electrical contact breaks with each bump of the road and it changes the mode of the flashlight if the driver has several modes.
