What blade steel does it claim to be made from, how much did it cost, and where can people buy it?

Thanks for stopping by, Canaris!

If large automatic knives were legal where I reside, I would buy some.

But since they aren't, I stick to assisted-openers.  ;)

It is also interesting that the blade has the appearance of exhibiting a hamon along the edge.

I’d guess that’s from the polishing wheel after sharpening the blade on a benchstone.

I’ve had that on some blades, on D2 that seems to be very visible.

On my TwoSun TS51 there’s a similar line, only visible from some angles.

Check out midtech knives, very good quality OTF. I have three of their knives. Great quality.
