Would you consider use sanyo NCR18650BL 3200mah 7A instead of NCR18650GA?

The performance is slightly weaker, but there are cost performance.

GA is expensive cell.
My benchmark for price-performance is Samsung 35E and it is my default high-capacity cell.
So for me NCR18650BL wouldn’t be an alternative to GA but rather to 35E.
Is NCR18650BL significantly cheaper than 35E? If yes then maybe I would buy.

I guess 7A will be sufficient for most (unmodded) lights.
When you have a 2.8A driver (8*7135AMC), it does not matter if your battery can deliver 7A, 10A, or 15A.
Of course you can install a DD-driver for sending more Amps to the led. But then you will face heat issues.

It is like buying the best power-tool-set there is, when a 3mm screwdriver can do the job.

Are those BL’s showing a mfgr date of 08/2015… just something to consider. Also, HKJ’s site indicates the BL he tested is 3350mAh, not 3200. So Im not sure why the disparity unless there is more than one version of this cell. Perhaps his was a newer version. (Also, your link isn’t working). Maybe this one? https://lygte-info.dk/review/batteries2012/Sanyo%20NCR18650BL%203350mAh%20(Red)%20UK.html Eh… mine didnt work either!

Either way, if the price is right and I had a need, Id jump all over these for low/medium current flashlights and run the heck out of them. With aging cells, just double check resting voltages after charging and group by voltage if used in serial config lights. Can you give us a link or is that something you’d rather keep to yourself.

I’ll also add that I sometimes find great deals on similar aged authentic name brand cells on aliexpress for $1.90-2.50 per cell if purchased by the hordes. Just another data point to consider…

about USD2.0/pc if you order about 10k

The most commonly used date format in Japan is “year month day (weekday)”, with the Japanese characters meaning “year”, “month” and “day” inserted after the numerals. Example: 2008年12月31日 (水) for “Wednesday, 31 December, 2008”.

So, the batteries in the picture are 2 years old (atm).

Yeah ,BL discontiued for a long time, those batteries from a battery pack factory

it is new batteries never use before, about USD2.0/pc .if you place an big order

It is a good cell but, is it a good buy for you? I guess it depends on whether customers will buy it from you fast enough or not.

Did you open some international online cell store, Trisky? :-)

I do not know what is the wholesale price for certain chinese OEM manufactured cells, it must be pretty low seeing the ludicrous (fake) cell pack sale prices in AliExpress. Of course from LietoKala 0fficial Faketory Stores :-D (pun intended) and the like.

Cheers ^:)

Sorry for the language barrier. $2/pc is a good deal and fair. I buy large orders of cells to package with flashlights I sell. If you can sell hundreds of flashlights, then this is worth considering.

Thank you!

AliExpress many fake batteries sell very cheap price,be careful

Could you let me know how many do you need ? Mr Barkuti

We sell the batteries 100% original, never fake

why would you expect someone here will buy 10000 cells?, it’s A LOT
even if you do group buy, i doubt it can reach 10000 cells

Thanks ,It is a good idea, Group buy

1000pc ,it is ok?

yeah, 1000 cells sound more pratical

lol
