Beautiful Airola flashlight @ IOS

I see there is a new Airola AA flashlight on the Intl-outdoor website:

http://www.intl-outdoor.com/airola-cck-150lm-aa-flashlight-p-296.html

Yeah I saw it a few hours ago. A bit expensive to be a "non fenix" flashlight. Only 150 lumens. Hope it is 150 REAL ANSI lumens....

Also I dont like the switch it uses, it reminds me to the eastward AA that DX has which has problematic switch desings... among other problems.... XP

These are all emitter lumens, you know that Fran.

Somehow I think you believe Airola is a DX brand. Actually is highly regarded in China and it built only two flashlights. This AA one and the Titanium 18650 flashlight.

The switch is not like on the Eastward AA. Look at the photos this is the switch you mention about :http://www.dealextreme.com/customerphotos/quarantined/201108/44961-02fbf164-7410-4e01-80f8-f4b9a0310781.jpg

And the switch for the Airola can be easily seen on Intl-outdoor website. Actually you get a spare one.

Fenix is not a standard in everything. Crelant or even XintD have better anodizing than some Fenix lights.

That is definitely a good looking light! But its a more budget-plus light.
I really like the pics on IO (int outdoor)! Look professional!

The AIROLA C-CK is a beaut. I'm going to get one

The switch looks more similar to the one used on the Yezl T9 and some EDI-T zoomings, which has had some problems on some flashlights, but I repeat, it is just similar not the same one.

I like its design, the only thing I do not like much about it is its lenght, I prefer shorter ones running AA, but that is just my own taste.

I have to agree, it's a nice looking light :P But... High-Low-Strobe is not for me :(

Looks nice but the price is too high for my taste. Will they have a sister brand called Labiola?

Two brands I'd have a hard time owning just because of the name: Airola and FandyFire. It's silly, but kind of true

The Switch on this one is pretty thin to be used on the Yezl T9.

Many companies use the same OMTEN switches. I have a $100 Eagletac with an OMTEN switch. $14 Uniquefire, DRY and Shadow TC6 have OMTEN switches.

That is a nice design. Looks like it has some aggressive knurling, too. The name sounds like areola though, and it's a bit pricey.

You cannot own this light because of the name. Airola/areola? I will laugh at you.

Maybe you have to give it a few squeezes to get maximum...oh, nevermind.

It's a lot of money for an XP-E. If it was XP-G or better I might bite.

Wonder if it can handle Li-ion rechargable 3.7V 14500's, even for short periods? Did not see a voltage range in the specs on the IOS website.

Ok, maybe just FandyFire. whatever :D

The driver in the Ti was very programmable though!

It would be super if it can handle 14500's plus programmable modes. Will hear from Hank when he checks in, anyhow I'll still get the light based just on its good looks/unique design.

Check out these Airola C-CKs.

Dirtiest flashlight name ever!

At least they blanked out the 'o' :)

Ok, Hank says no LiIons and mode static.

i thought this light would be a twisty :stuck_out_tongue:

I like the good looking clip ..nice looking light For some starnge reason i'm attracted to them ..they are in pairs in the pics too ...

on this light flashies might be appropriate .
