Folding bread knife?

Hi!

For lunch brek I often buy myself a bun with something to put on - I use a normal non-serrated knife for that, which isn’t ideal for cutting buns.

So, I am searching pretty much for a folding knife that has this blade-style: Amazon.de

All I found so far is one from Herbertz: HERBERTZ Brot Messer - Camping Klappmesser Jagd Taschenmesser Wellenschliff Holz 4001833078675 | eBay and with different handle-material for less from china: Page Not Found - Aliexpress.com
But that serrating is too aggressive, I want to cut buns in half, not trees :stuck_out_tongue:

Does anyone know something a bit closer to what I want? Got to be cheap of course and either available in germany or china (shipping from ’murica is too expensive)

Thanks a lot!

Victorinox parachutist?

I found the Lamson folding picnic knife but that seems only being sold in the US, so impossible to buy.

Not exactly a bread knife, but have you checked to see if a folding fillet knife would be OK?

victorinox backermesser?

This ?

another pointless contribution :innocent:

I was thinking SAK as well. There’s the cheese knife, the baker’s knife, and a 91mm and 111mm Picnicker. All with serrated blades.

Have you tried Opinel , the maker of the so called “French knife”?
They make all sorts of knives for (amongst others) domestic use.

Interesting tips, thank you!
Is the Victorinox Backer wouldn’t have that curved blade - that would be the one.

Gotta think about those knifes and which one would be the best for me.

Thank you all!
