I made this light from some 15mm plumbers tube, copper sheet and other bits & pieces from the parts box.
The reverse clicky switch has a rubber switch boot under the copper & glass cover with a green tritium vial installed.
Two mode, high/ low operated by tightening or loosening the tail after switching on.
Built around a 10440 protected cell.
Gorgeous!
Not being too handy myself- I would love to own a hand made CRX creation someday

How do you thread parts by hand? Especially the female side (I’ve hand cut male threads before with diamond files but no idea how you could do the female side by hand).
RIP SPC Joey Riley, KIA 11/24/14. Now I am become death, the destroyer of worlds.
Thanks
I don’t, yet. I have been looking at tap & die sets though.
I’m just a scavenger, those threaded parts are from one of those cheap laser pointers
