Test/review of Listman 20700 3400mAh (Yellow)

Listman 20700 3400mAh (Yellow)

Official specifications:

  • Battery Capacity (Mfg Rated): 3400 mAh

  • Battery Chemistry: IMR - LiMn

  • Battery Feature: Rechargeable

  • Battery Form Factor: IMR 20700

  • Battery Rated Voltage: 3.7 V

This is a high current 20700 battery.

The two cells tracks fairly well and can deliver nearly 30A, I get about 3000mAh from them to 2.8V

At 30A the cells gets rather hot.

Conclusion

This battery is designed for high current and do that fairly well, but specified capacity is a bit optimistic.

I am really disappointed with Listman, because I notice that since I bought my two pairs of cells of this model (Listman 20700 3400mAh 40A), they changed the cell used for this rewrap, because the model that I own at home did not have the same positive pole at all (I put some pictures to prove it at the end of my post), according to the capacity tests I did on it exceeded the 3300mAh. The version you tested seems to use the same cells as the Efest 20700 3100mAh 30A, Vapcell Gold-WhiteWriting 20700 3100mAh 30A and Golisi S32.

@HKJ: Hi, I’ll be ready to give you one of my pairs (which has never been used, apart from two-three capacity tests, but never served in a vape mod or any other) if you agree, I would send the cells at my expense if necessary, I live in France so the transport should not be too expensive, I would be really happy to see a test of the cell they used at start in this model and that seems closer to what is promised on the wrap Listman, so contact me when you want and I would be happy to send you a pair of these cells.

I do not know how interesting a test of them would be, but it looks like my battery queue is running low, i.e. I have time to test them.

Okay, listen I’ll inquire to find a delivery service that accepts li-ion battery transport with good delivery times and a fair price for all that. You live in Denmark, is that it?

Yes, exactly as it says after “Location”.
