Looking for drivers to be used on XML and XRE mods

Anyone know where to buy a 17mm multi mode single Cell Driver for XRE (1.7A) and XML (3.5A or higher). Or any Driver that Direct drives on high.

Thanks

You could buy a Nanjg driver with 1.4A and add one extra so it would be 1.75A for the XR-E.

Or for more mode groups (or even write the Atmel chip yourself), you could buy 2x Nanjg 105C , remove 2 or 3 chips from one board and add the collected ones to the other Nanjg board and you will have the 3.5A regulated driver and a 1.75A driver.

Thanks Hikelite

Is this whats needed?

I also dont know If I could be able to pull modding a driver, is there something that is already made out of the factory?

Thanks

Send me a PM I can make you something.

Buy 2 Nanjg 105C drivers. You don't need to buy separate chips to achieve what you want.

Form one board. Remove 2 chips and you will end up with a 2.1A driver. If you remove 3, you will end up with 1.75A driver.

Now on the other board. Use those already removed chips and add them on top of other two and you will end up with a 3.5A driver.

So the nice part about the Najg 105C, is that you will be able to choose nice sets of modes and they are nicely spaced. Later one you can even start writing your own code for this drivers, or use the one that DrJones has made available.

Thanks Hikelite and E1320 for the response.

Will try to make one, hopefully my soldering skill is enough to do the job.
