Thoughts on this?

Whats everyone’s opinion on this one, I know there’s far better lights for the money (s2) but the triple looks interesting…

No one have any opinions?

My opinion:

You say it at thread starting

Looks cheap and ugly tbh.

Garbage if you ask me.

It comes with 2 cr123s for £20
Cr123s are around £5 each here in the shops so it’s essentially a £10 light with a triple, looks like the mainstream flashlight makers may be starting to get with the times….

Why do you care for two “free” CR123 if you are going to pay every single one of them after those two? And it’s not only the cost but, mostly, the impact non-rechargeable batteries has on the environment. My opinion, stick with lights that use rechargeable batteries, Lithium, NiMh, doesn’t matter. Other than that, it’s a cheap light and it compares with other - much better - cheap lights at that price. You can even buy an A6 with a rechargeable 30Q (with coupon) for about the same amount.

The only category that Energizer could add something to the existing flashlight market is providing a quality flashlight for alkaline/NiMh batteries. For the 3-4V battery type of flashlights they will never exceed what is already out there.

There vision hd 6aa 1300 is good for an alkaline light, quality is pretty good

Maybe this light would accept rcr123a’s or a single 18650, but then there are far better lights for that. I thought it looked interesting but I guess it’s just a way for them to up sales of expensive batteries…

those batteries will last about 10 min at 700 lumens
2 cr123as have about 1/4 the energy of a 18650
the strobe mode will be annoying

wle

Simply: No

Looks cheap
Unknown LED
And the worst: 2xCR123
