Help identify the emitter

I hope this is in the right forum.

I found these available locally. They are mounted on a similar PCB as the ones used with the CFT 90. They are used in moving head stage lights. The specs on the stage lights only list them as a 60 watt emitter.

I would like to find out what it is and if possible, drive current and voltage requirements.

Thanx in advance.

Oh:

That looks like a CFT-90.

I havnt figure out how to yet. Here is the link to the product page.

Much appreciated.

In that case I am one happy camper. It means I have easy access to something worthy of a super thrower.

Now just to figure out how I’m go in to build a driver for that sucker.

It’s not actually a CFT-90 though.

I was wrong. Does look like a Luminus emitter though.

Oh well was worth a shot. To my knowledge Luminus does’t have anything else with comparable surface brightness so it’s probably not worth the effort then.

The hunt is still on.

LE-UWQ9WP used in projectors and mooving head too

Thanx Niko.

Looking at the datasheet it doesn’t seem to be worth $70 unless it can be driven much higher than spec.
